Middle School Teacher (Grades 6-8)

Grade-Level Specific Responsibilities:

Middle School Teacher (Grades 6-8)
Provide subject-specific instruction with an emphasis on critical thinking and inquiry.
Prepare students for high school by fostering independence and study skills.
Integrate technology and real-world applications into lessons.
Encourage spiritual development through discussions, retreats, and service opportunities.
Support students in developing leadership skills through extracurricular involvement and mentorship.

Qualifications:

⚫︎ Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred for middle school).
⚫︎ Valid Hawaii Teaching License or ability to obtain one.
⚫︎ Practicing Catholic preferred; commitment to Catholic values and mission required.
⚫︎ Experience working with children in an educational setting.
⚫︎ Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
⚫︎ Knowledge of curriculum standards and best practices in instruction and assessment.
⚫︎ Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools.
