Expectations for Our 3-Year-Old Saint Patrick Prekindergarten

In our 3’s Prekindergarten classroom, we aim to create a nurturing and faith-filled environment
where young children can grow emotionally, socially, and academically. Our lessons each day
focus on a blend of foundational skills, including:
● Phonics: Introduction to letter sounds, recognizing letters, and building early literacy
skills.
● Religion: Daily lessons centered on God’s love, prayer, and values, alongside a weekly
church service to deepen spiritual understanding.
● Foundational Math Concepts: Exploring early math skills such as counting, shapes,
and simple patterns.
● Language Arts: Encouraging communication through storytelling, songs, and basic
writing.
● Social Studies: Helping children explore the world around them by learning about their
community, cultures, and the environment.

We value kindness, respect, and curiosity in the classroom, and encourage children to grow in
their faith, build positive relationships, and develop essential academic skills in a joyful,
supportive atmosphere.
