TITLE I

Title I Overview

✔ Title I is a federally funded program to assist in meeting student’s educational goals. Its
purpose is to:
• Help students fill academic gaps
• Provide them with specific learning tools
• Help them develop the necessary skills they need for academic success
✔ Title I is not a Special Education program or an IEP (Individual Education Program)
✔ Instructional Services
• Can be provided before/during/after school/summer
• Pull-out (teachers, tutors)
✔ Parent & Family Engagement
• Should include academically focused family events to help support student learning at home

Title I Digital Learning Platform

We will be utilizing the Digital Learning Platform Exact Path.
• Exact Path is an online learning platform that provides personalized learning for K-12 students
in Math, Reading, and Language Arts
• The program uses a mastery learning approach to help fill skill gaps and accelerate their
learning by creating personalized learning paths for each student
• With Exact Path, we are able to monitor the progress of students for all the core subjects on
one platform
• Progress is monitored using Assessments from both Exact Path, and Renaissance STAR and
evaluated by the students Title 1 teacher as well as with the students Homeroom teachers.
