Music
At Saint Patrick School, music is an integral part of our students’ growth and development. Our general music classes cater to children from age 3 through 5th grade, providing vocal instruction alongside hands-on learning with bells and chimes. Younger students in our early learning program use Uchida bells and Suzuki chimes, while older students progressively work with 3 octaves of Suzuki chimes and Schulmerich handbells, developing motor skills and coordination and experiencing the beauty of collaborative music-making. In 5th grade, students specialize in handbells, expanding their music reading and ringing techniques. Additional instruments are used occasionally for instruction.
For middle school students, we offer a variety of music electives including Handbell Ensemble, Vocal Ensemble, Music Ministry, and Instrument Building, allowing them to explore different musical paths and deepen their talents.
Vocal Ensemble + Praise Team
This elective combines vocal training with instrumental skills such as percussion, ukulele, and keyboard chords. The ensemble helps to lead music for Wednesday services and plays a key role in the school’s Christmas Program.
Arts + Crafts
A hands-on creative class where students explore a variety of artistic techniques and materials. Projects may include drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, encouraging creativity, fine motor skills, and personal expression. Larger projects such as construction of fidget boards (concept ideas, material collection, construction, final design) will be included this semester.

This will be a course that will teach students the value of teamwork while building individual skill in the sport. Since soccer tends to be a non-stop game, it can build a student’s cardiovascular endurance while keeping the mind active.
Strength + Agility
The course is meant to challenge students with fun, age-appropriate activities like cone sprints, ladder drills, and broad jumps. It helps build muscle coordination, endurance, and overall physical fitness while having fun with their classmates.
