KINDERGARTEN TEACHER
Grade-Level Specific Responsibilities:
Kindergarten Teacher
Provide foundational instruction in literacy, math, science, and social studies.
Utilize phonics-based reading instruction and hands-on math manipulatives.
Support social-emotional learning through structured routines and cooperative play.
Incorporate faith-based activities, including daily prayer, religious songs, and Bible lessons.
Assess kindergarten readiness and provide targeted interventions as needed.
Qualifications:
⚫︎ Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred for middle school).
⚫︎ Valid Hawaii Teaching License or ability to obtain one.
⚫︎ Practicing Catholic preferred; commitment to Catholic values and mission required.
⚫︎ Experience working with children in an educational setting.
⚫︎ Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
⚫︎ Knowledge of curriculum standards and best practices in instruction and assessment.
⚫︎ Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools.
